Thomas O'Connor Davies

Thomas O'Connor Davies

Thomas O'Connor Davies JR. died on October 5, 2012.
Thomas was born April 1, 1944, in Sarasota, FL. in a small trailer at the end of the Tamiami Trail.  He was the loving son of Thomas and Katherine Davies, who moved to Florida from Missouri.
Thomas is the eldest of four children and served two tours in the Vietnam War.
Thomas is survived by his loving daughters, Shaune L. and Vanessa J. Davies; sister, Katherine; and brother, Joseph A. Davies.  He was preceded in death by hes parents and brother, George T. Davies.
In his passing he wants to leave us with the comfort of these words:
“I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work, to play.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, ah yes, these things, I too, will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much. Good friends, good times, and a loved one's touch.”
