Arlene F. Page, 65, of Largo, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April, 25, 2012 at Bay Pines VA Health Care System.

She has been a longtime resident of Pinellas County and grew up in a military family. She became a Women’s Army veteran of Vietnam. After her discharge, she worked as a clerk in the Pediatric Research Dept. of the University of Alabama Hospital, Birmingham. While living in Seminole, FL. She helped take care of her parents and worked for several years at The Tides Resort.

The last few years of her life Arlene suffered several health problems. She was thoughtfully cared for by the staff of The Barrington and by her special caregiver, Arthea Palmer-Steele. She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Seminole. She loved movies, bingo, and being with people. She was proud of all her many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Bay Pines VA Medical Center in the Hospice Chapel on the 5th Floor, 10000 Bay Pines Blvd., Bay Pines, FL 33744.  Interment will take place later at Bay Pines National Cemetery.
