Nathalie Bricker graduated from Clarke County High School in 1955. She then lived and Worked for a short period at Palatka, Fl before moving to Montgomery, AL where she rose to Supervisor of Data Entry for the Alabama State Highway Patrol. It was there that she met her soulmate and future husband, Senior Master Sergeant Howard Bricker (Ret) of the U.S. Air Force. She followed her husband in 1978 to Washington, D.C. where she worked briefly as a data entry operator before following her husband yet again in 1979 to Boulder, CO where she found a position with the Boulder County Tax Assessor working as a research statistician and property appraiser while her husband worked as a service planner for NBI, a word processor manufacturer. After ten years of the daily grind, they pulled up stakes and moved with their boat to Key West, FL where they basked in the sunshine for a year and a half at Key West Naval Air Station. Finally they moved to Tampa, FL where they both worked at various computer related jobs until about 1997 when Nathalie became too impaired by Alzheimer's disease to work any longer.
Nathalie sewed and knitted making many of her own clothes throughout her life. She also enjoyed gardening and the outdoors in general. During their years in Colorado, the Brickers traveled by motorcycle every summer, tent camping along the way, to the far corners of the country excepting only the Northeast.
Nathalie was admired for her dedication to perfection in everything she did and for her enduring smile through thick and thin. Nathalie Bricker will be sorely missed.
